Why Pillars
As we looked at the landscape of other professionals in this field, we saw our uniqueness... working with your business to deliver what you need, not just your requirements. To accomplish this we will be leveraging our years of experiences and disciplines, and applying them to emerging web technologies.
From the start we set out to apply a structured approach in delivering value, always with a business focus in mind. We do this from the smallest to the largest projects, and make the inevitable problems go away.
About the Directors
John Beck has a Business Management education combined with 20 years working experience in the IT sector in the development & deployment of large scale IT projects. His focus has been on finding a practical balance between delivering the project and embedding the result within the organisation. In 2000 John moved from Holland to Ireland expanding his Project Management experience in Project Office and Programme Management roles. Experiences include; Facilitation of Project Lessons Learned sessions, Setup and operation of Programme Office, Customization and deployment of a Customer Relationship Management package, Customization of Portfolio Bond Processing system, Development of Tax Calculation Application, Roll out of localised mobile phone portal, Design and implementation of Dutch based websites, e.g. www.schiphol.nl, Implementation of PTT Post (i.e.: Dutch An Post) Invoicing & Parcel Tracking system.
Stephen Comeau has, for the past 17 years, worked on change projects relating to business application development. The first 12 years were technically focused on: Client/Server development with an emphasis on database architectures. Other experiences gained were System Design meeting complex business requirements, quality assurance testing and implementation planning. Technical project successes have been attributed to understanding the business requirement and delivering relevant, modular, functional and easy to use applications. In the last 5 years, project work extended into Team Lead and IT Project Management.

People ... Our core development team comprises of talented staff members combined with external IT resources. We collaborate, when needed, with design specialists, Expert Usability Reviewers, Search Engine Optimisation & Online Marketing experts delivering you a successful project.
Technology ... So far, we have been happy with the results, as have been our customers. We have built brochure websites, e-commerce and event registration systems. In most cases we have been able to provide the vast amount of development through OpenSource products. This provides our website customers with flexibility, and room for growth while reducing ongoing costs.
